Civic Builders
Civic Builders is a nonprofit organization founded in 2002, dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities in underserved communities by supporting the creation and growth of public charter schools. With a clear mission to eliminate real estate as a barrier to quality education, Civic Builders has effectively positioned itself as a vital player in the educational landscape, particularly in economically distressed areas.
Over the past two decades, Civic Builders has achieved remarkable success, having partnered with various philanthropists and capital providers to manage and deploy innovative financing solutions. This includes their prominent Facilities Investment Fund (FIF), which, in collaboration with the Walton Family Foundation and PNC Bank, has provided approximately $300 million in fixed-rate loans. These funds are designed to support new construction, renovations, and the acquisition of charter school facilities. Such strategic financial services demonstrate Civic Builders' commitment to tailoring support to match the unique needs of each school project.
Civic Builders has supported the establishment and growth of eight-four schools, directly impacting more than 43,220 students annually. The organization focuses its efforts on providing a full spectrum of services encompassing real estate development, financial advisory, and strategic planning. Their comprehensive approach ensures that charter schools can navigate the often-complex landscape of facilities and financing challenges effectively.
By investing over $1.5 billion into charter school infrastructure, Civic Builders has not only transformed the educational facilities but also fostered safe and positive learning environments. Their work addresses the critical gap in quality educational access, ensuring that students in under-resourced communities can thrive in conducive settings. Civic Builders continues to be a pivotal force in the nonprofit sector, striving ceaselessly for educational equity across the United States.
Payment applications generally include the application for payment form and a continuation sheet (which includes a schedule of values and change orders). Depending on the situation, you may also include backup documents like materials receipts and invoices, payroll wage reports, and lien waivers.
It's a lot to keep straight, and it's further complicated by most GCs requiring their own custom payment application forms, rather than standard AIA templates. Fortunately, Siteline has more than 8,000 forms from over 6,000 GCs—in our system. Our software streamlines the entire monthly billing workflow, ensuring you submit the perfect pay apps on time, every time, which gets your invoices paid about three weeks faster.Want to see for yourself?
