KCI Construction
KCI Construction is a full-service general contracting company that has been operating since 1922. Originally founded as the Kloster Company, it began its journey focusing on carpentry with projects centered around schools, churches, and single-family homes throughout the 30s, 40s, and 50s. Under the guidance of founder Charles Kloster, the company expanded into concrete construction and incorporated hospital building services in 1955 when Kloster's sons joined the company. A pivotal change occurred in 1984 when new ownership took control, allowing the firm to continue its legacy in carpentry and concrete, while broadening its spectrum of services to include sewer, heavy concrete, deep foundations, highway, and bridge construction. By 1995, it fully rebranded to KCI Construction Company as there were no Kloster family members involved in the ownership. Today, KCI is led by Tom Huster and Brent Krueger who uphold the tradition of quality in general contracting, concrete, and carpentry work. The company has also diversified its offerings since 2016 to encompass earthwork and utilities services, further establishing its reputation for dependable and comprehensive construction solutions.
KCI Construction caters to a broad spectrum of clients, including public and private entities across various sectors. Their project portfolio showcases an impressive range of work, highlighting capabilities in transportation, heavy industrial, general building, and design-build projects. KCI is particularly noted for its performance in multi-story buildings, infrastructure enhancements, and complex utility work. Their notable projects include significant transport infrastructure such as the rehabilitation of the Blanchette Bridge and the improvements to various highways, as well as extensive industrial jobs like wastewater treatment facility upgrades. KCI's commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and its extensive experience in union trades equips it to deliver superior results across diverse construction demands, making it a leading contractor in the region.
Payment applications generally include the application for payment form and a continuation sheet (which includes a schedule of values and change orders). Depending on the situation, you may also include backup documents like materials receipts and invoices, payroll wage reports, and lien waivers.
It's a lot to keep straight, and it's further complicated by most GCs requiring their own custom payment application forms, rather than standard AIA templates. Fortunately, Siteline has more than 8,000 forms from over 6,000 GCs—in our system. Our software streamlines the entire monthly billing workflow, ensuring you submit the perfect pay apps on time, every time, which gets your invoices paid about three weeks faster.Want to see for yourself?
